Check in as Work Profile

Work Profile is a feature that separates areas within the managed device into "User Profile" for personal data and settings and "Work Profile" for work data and settings.

Within the Android device, work application groups distributed by the administrator are displayed.

 

The administrator can manage only the applications for work, and can give functional restrictions only to the applications in the work profile, or erase only the applications and data in the work profile when the managed device is lost, for example. Work applications are marked with a bag icon. The same application can be used as two independent applications, one for work and one for personal use.

 

BizMobile Go! enables separate management of public and private devices when introducing BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) by using "work profiles". To use work profiles, it is necessary to set up work profiles on the device side at the time of check-in. The procedure for setting up a work profile is as follows.

 

How to setup Work Profile

  1. Open Default browser and enter the URL to access Check-in website 
    • https://as-go.bizmo.in/enroll (Asia Region)

    • https://go.bizmo.in/enroll (Tokyo Region)

 

  1. Enter Key and Code at Device Enrollment screen, and then tap Continue

  1. Tap Install

  1. Tap Install

  1. Tap Continue

  1. Tap Check in

  1. Open the BizGo! MDM agent app tap NEXT button

  1. Accept & continue button to create work profile

 

Note:
If you are prompted to encrypt the device, follow the on-screen instructions to encrypt the device.

  1. Tap to open the BizGo! MDM app with Bag badge

     

Note:
A new app with badge is created in the work profile

  1. Tap NEXT button

  1. Input Key and Code to enroll to BizMobile Go!.

     

    Tap ENROLL BY QR CODE to use QR code enrollment. Refer to Prepare Device Check-in page to learn how to get enrollment QR code.

  1. Check Managed by unit is your unit name and managed type is Work Profile.

  1. After completing the enrollment in the work profile, you don't need the BizGo! MDM app without the bag badge, so you can delete it.

  1. Tap UNINSTALL button
